METHODOLOGY & TRUST

Clarity needs rules.

OHHO separates sourced facts, comparisons, editorial selections, physical testing and paid placements so every label means something specific.

01

Source-backed product information

A product can enter the public catalogue only after its core record is linked to a source and manually reviewed. Product pages show the review date and original source link.

  • Unsupported or incomplete claims are not added to fill a page.
  • Editing a published record returns it to draft for a fresh review.
  • Prices and offers use their own checked date, expiry and retailer record.
02

Comparison eligibility

Comparison uses published, reviewed products from the same category. It shows recorded specifications side by side and keeps missing information visible.

  • Text differences do not automatically mean better or worse.
  • Units are not silently converted or normalised.
  • A comparison does not declare a winner without an approved scoring basis.
03

Scores and rankings

OHHO scores and rankings will appear only when the criteria, eligible data and update process are approved and traceable. No unapproved numeric weights are in use today.

  • Each future score must link back to its explanation.
  • Ranking context must state category, eligibility and update basis.
  • A paid placement cannot raise a score or organic position.
04

OHHO PICK

OHHO PICK is intended to be selective, not a paid badge. It will be used only after the eligibility and decision record for that product can be shown.

  • Commercial participation does not guarantee selection.
  • The reason for a PICK must be understandable.
  • Changed evidence can trigger a fresh review or removal.
05

When “OHHO TESTED” can appear

OHHO TESTED is reserved for documented physical testing performed under an approved test plan. Reading a source, watching a video or comparing specifications is not hands-on testing.

  • The tested unit, procedure and date must be recorded.
  • Observed results must be separated from manufacturer claims.
  • Until that evidence exists, OHHO uses source-based wording only.
UPDATES & CORRECTIONS

Freshness is part of trust.

OHHO keeps review dates and change events with governed records. If reliable information changes, the affected product, offer, article or video can be withdrawn, corrected and reviewed again before publication.
